絲蟲病是指絲蟲寄生在淋巴組織、皮下組織或漿膜腔所致的寄生蟲病。我國只有班克魯夫絲蟲（班氏）和馬來布魯絲蟲（馬來絲蟲）。本病由吸血昆蟲傳播。絲蟲病的癥狀體征因絲蟲寄生部位不同而異。早期主要表現(xiàn)為淋巴管炎和淋巴結炎，晚期則出現(xiàn)淋巴管阻塞所引起的一系列癥狀和體征。診斷主要靠在血液或皮膚組織內檢出微絲蚴。預防方法為消滅傳染媒介，加強個人防護，治療患者及感染者，全民服藥以消滅傳染源。
病因
絲蟲屬線蟲綱，絲蟲目，蓋頭蟲科。體細長如絲。絲蟲病流行于亞洲、非洲及大洋洲，在中國僅見班氏絲蟲病及馬來絲蟲病。我國流行區(qū)為山東、河南、江蘇、浙江、福建、江西、、廣東、廣西、四川、貴州等地。傳染源為血中含微絲蚴的早期患者及無癥狀的帶蟲者（微絲蚴血癥者）。傳播媒介為4屬30余種蚊如中華按蚊、微小按蚊、淡色庫蚊和致倦庫蚊。人是惟一的終寄主，普遍易感

及早發(fā)現(xiàn)患者和帶蟲者，及時治愈，既保證人民健康，又減少和杜絕傳染源。

加強對已達基本消滅絲蟲病指標地區(qū)的流行病學監(jiān)測，在監(jiān)測工作中應注意：
（1）對原陽性患者復查復治，發(fā)現(xiàn)患者及時治療直至轉陰。
（2）加強對血檢陽性戶的蚊媒監(jiān)測，發(fā)現(xiàn)感染蚊，即以感染蚊戶為中心，向周圍人群擴大查血和滅蚊，以清除疫點，防止繼續(xù)傳播。
